New York Festivals and Korea-National Brand Awards (K-NBA) will join forces to celebrate Korea’s top brands on April 2nd at the 12th annual K-NBA ceremony at the Lotte Hotel in Sogong-dong, Seoul. For 2021 New York Festivals and Jungang Ilbo, South Korea's major National newspaper, will host the annual Korea-National Brand Awards ceremony. 

Each year, the prestigious Korea National Brand Awards honors the most respected Korean brands The 2021 K-NBA award-winners will be selected from the highest scores determined by votes based on the National Brand Competitiveness Index (NCI)

Korea's NBA awards are comprised of 4 sectors; industries (35 categories), local authorities (2 categories), cultural fields (3 categories), and New York Festivals Special Awards (2 categories) which were newly added in 2021 as special awards for individuals who make distinguished achievements in industry and local authority.

All K-NBA winners will be announced in the South Korean daily Jungang Ilbo the day after the awards and the Economist, Jungang Ilbo's sister journal, will serve as the main promotional media outlet.

The yearly awards ceremony is open to participants free of charge. It is the largest event related to brands in Korea, where brand-related parties and local authorities (representatives/officers of enterprises, heads of local authorities) participate together.
