Chris is executive producer for animation production company Final Frontier, creating world-class design-driven work, primarily for clients in China and across the APAC region.

Prior to FF, Chris worked with Oriental DreamWorks, where he was responsible for developing relationships with international studios, elite animation education institutes and key industry events. He was also the company’s chief scout for global storytelling, design and production talent.

That belief in nurturing talent carried over in his role as development and strategy director for the Institute for Animation & Creative Content, a training institute in Shanghai bringing world-class Western specialists to China to teach and promote skill development in the country's emerging animation industry.

Along the way, Chris has written extensively about the domestic animation, advertising, interactive and film industries for local and international publications including Variety, Animation World Network and China Film Insider. That has extended to consultancy work for clients across the motion spectrum and invitations to speak at conferences and schools across China, Europe and the US.

Malu Figueiredo
Copywriter Anomaly Berlin
ABOUT

Malu Figueiredo

Malu, that's how she likes to be called because her real name is too long and too latin, is a former journalist turned into a creative nomad. Tired of annoying people with questions, she decided to annoy people with answers to questions they haven't asked. She's started her career in advertising as a freelancer at AlmapBBDO. She decided then that would be better to be a good copywriter than an ex-journalist and moved to Germany to learn more about the business. But then she learned that moving was fun and moved away to France and then to New York (not USA cause NY is not USA) and then back to Germany where she is based for the past 5 winters.

Along the way Malu sold some very small cars, home appliances, fizzy drinks, vodka, sneakers, regular people's cars, search engines, tickets to ballet, ice cream, dog food and also luxury cars. Currently, she is at Anomaly Berlin selling some trendy suitcases and faster luxurious cars. She likes fancy, but what she really fancies is a good story.

Her awards include her brother, who is a doctor that lives in Sao Paulo and thinks that Malu moved to Germany because of Berghain, finding out that one of his favourite ads was done by his sister. She shed a tiny tear when he wrote her a message saying: "WTF, why didn't you explain to me what you were working with?". That was gold to her.

Malu normally judges humans by their feet, but she made an effort to judge them by their work this time. It was an honour.

In the last two years alone, she has won more than 130 International Advertising Awards for her work, including Cannes Lions, Clios, D&AD, London International Awards, Spikes Asia, Ad Stars, Dubai Lynx, and more. Her most notable campaign UN Women's #BridalUniform is number 56 on the WARC100.

ABOUT

Che Muñoz

Before my 30th birthday, I’ve already obtained multiple international awards, including the first Cannes Lion, Effie Awards and Ojo de Iberoamérica for Ogilvy Dominicana.

I have a bachelors degree in advertising communication, but my restless heart took me down the path of creativity.

With only ten years in the market, I’ve already had the opportunity to manage a portfolio of national and international brands such as Hyundai, MINI, Ab-InBev, Coca-Cola, Jumbo Hypermarkets, Alpha Inversiones and Chevrolet.

My biggest motivation is to make brands matter to people while impacting culture and society.

The biggest lesson I’ve learned from this business so far is that the people you surround yourself with is what matters the most.

My peers describe me as workhorse, goal-getter and hungry.

My goal is to expand my circle in search of bigger and better ideas.

Executive Producer Tempomedia Film Production
ABOUT

Vera Portz

My journey as a filmmaker began when I saw the film "awakenings“ at the age of 18 years. The experience to create something so deeply touching made me believe in the medium film.

After having studied marketing and communication and miscellaneous stays abroad I started my professional career at BBDO, Germany, where I acted as tv producer for 5 years. In 1998 I joined the commercial film production tempomedia where I currently act as managing director and executive producer as well as partner heading the three offices in hamburg, berlin and frankfurt.

Receving numerous awards and accolades for my work including several clio, new york festival, LIA, eurobest, EPICA, adc awards and several sought-after Cannes Lions, still my first lion for a "remake" of "the graduate" with dustin hoffmann where he was now starring as the grown up dad saving his daughter, is the one I will never forget. Another non forgettable one was received for Edeka "heimkommen" … the most shared christmas advert worldwide.

I m still trying to develop tempomedia to something never seen before … but for now it is at least one of the most successful and creative commercial film productions in Germany.

I live in Hamburg, Germany, together with my husband and our 3 boys and the hungarian viszla „humphrey“.

Martin is the recipient of over a hundred Canadian and U.S. awards for work he has influenced.

Since joining AHLOT in September 2017, his first major marketing concept and ad campaign was the Cannabis Curation Committee national recruitment drive, which generated over 25,000 applicants in 30 days (one per minute during the first two weeks), generating over 167 million impressions and over 200 news media stories on every continent (except Antarctica). Perhaps not surprising with the headline, "Cannabis company paying people $50 an hour to smoke weed."

In his spare time, he maintains an ever-changing guitar collection, and has even learned to play a little.

I’m a See it Be it Cannes Lions delegate and creative copy who has worked at MAL São Paulo, TBWA Brasil, DM9DDB, Africa and McCann through 3 diffent cities in Brazil: São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Belo Horizonte. I had some luck shots at One Show, Cannes Lions, NY Festivals, Clio and others.

Besides working with great clients as Apple, Coca-Cola, Caprilat, Inhotim and others in their day to day briefs, I’m always trying to do work that defies gender stereotypes and trying to bring more equality to the creative department through different initiatives.
That’s why I subscribed myself at See it Be it Cannes Lions program and was one of the 15 women – the only south american – named by Cannes Lions as “Future Creative Leader” for the See It Be It program.

After that, I took part in relevant talks about inclusion and ways to bring more women to creative departaments both in Brasil most prestigious creative event, CCSP (“New Identities and the Space for Difference in Advertising”) and outside, at See it Be It Bulgaria (“Don’t smile – my path to overcome bad advice”).
