New York Festivals International Advertising Awards® World’s Best Advertising® travels to Colombia. NYF’s award-winning television commercials from around the globe will be featured at the Creative Conference Colombia sponsored by P&M Magazine on Wednesday, August 30th in Bogota at Centro Cultural Gimnasio Moderno, carrera 9 No. 74 – 99.

The 2017 Creative Conference Colombia provides an opportunity for advertising agency creatives, clients, and students to learn about the latest trends and innovations taking place in the advertising industry and how these insights and observations can be used to create more effective strategies that engage consumers and benefit brands. The conference lineup includes lively discussions featuring prominent creative leaders, a screening of the NYF's World's Best Advertising, and a presentation of P&M's 15 Years of Advertising Yearbook.

The annual conference kicks off with a keynote speech presented by Eduardo Maruri, president and CEO of Grey Latam discussing the business of creativity at the intersection of Wall Street, Hollywood and Silicon Valley, followed by panel discussions exploring the evolving world of advertising.

Panels include industry thought-leaders and award-winning creatives:

"The Challenges of Advertising Communication in Colombia" moderated by Carlos Fernando Vega, CEO of P & M; includes Leo Macías, Creative Vice President of DDB Colombia; Jorge Serrano, president and CEO of Gray Colombia; Juan Succar, vice president of marketing for Caracol TV; and Jaime Villa, president of Basic Medellin.

"Training Competent Industry Talent" moderated by Diego Rodríguez, editorial director of P & M with uan Pablo Rocha, CEO of J Walter Thompson Colombia; Andrés Carvajal, vice president of strategic planning for Sancho BBDO; and Paula Gaviria, digital vice president of Geometry Global.
