Andrés Ordóñez is a proven creative leader with over 17 years of experience helping successful brands craft their narratives. He was named Chief Creative Officer at Energy BBDO in 2016, where he has been a force for innovation across the agency’s diverse range of clients including American Egg Board, Avocados from Mexico, Bayer, Kerrygold, Luxottica, Mars Wrigley, Ocean Spray and National Safety Council. Andrés believes in creating big, global, brand ideas and bringing them to life through evocative stories and innovative experiences.

 BBDO Worldwide has been named Network of the Year at Cannes a record-setting six times and has topped The Gunn Report for 12 years in a row. Under Andrés’ leadership, Energy has become one of the most awarded agencies in the BBDO Network, winning 130+ awards from top global shows this year alone. The agency’s most recent work for the National Safety Council, putting a face on the U.S Opioid Epidemic, has been recognized for its innovative use of creative data visualization winning Grand Prix and Gold at top creative shows including Cannes, One Show, Clios and LIA.

Prior to being named CCO at Energy, Andrés was ECD on Wrigley and was the creative mastermind behind Extra Gum’s viral film “The Story of Sarah & Juan.” The film was named Top 5 Most Iconic Ads on YouTube in 2015 and led Haley Reinhart’s rendition of “Can’t Help Falling in Love” to reach number 1 on the Spotify global chart.
