Executive Creative Director, Enormous Brands, India
Advertising rescued Abhishek Chaswal from the pharmaceutical markets of Faizabad, where he was working as an anti-depressant salesman after completing his graduation from IIT Varanasi.
He spent the first few years of his advertising career writing business letters and direct mailers at a start-up called Up Close & Personal before he got sucked into what was then called mainline. Over the last 16 years he has worked with some of the best brains in the business at agencies like Result McCann, Euro RSCG (now Havas), Leo Burnett, BrandNewWordOrder, Contract, and now, Enormous.
He has handled various brands including Mortein, Dettol, Make My Trip, Max NewYork Life, Voltas, Tata Docomo and Olx. Some of his work has won at Adfest, Spikes, New York Festivals, Kyoorius and Goafest among other advertising shows. MakeMyTrip against Offisial Atyachaar, Czechoslovakia for Max NewYork Life and Bhalai Ki Supply for Tata Docomo are some of his more popular campaigns that stem from local Indian insights and appeal to the universal human heart.
