Marcelo Nogueira

Nogueira started out as a film editor and began his creative career in Brazil as an intern at AlmapBBDO, to where he returned in 2010, after six years at F/Nazca Saatchi & Saatchi. He was the 2nd most awarded creative director in Cannes Lions two years in a row, in 2016 and 2017, and 9th in Cannes Lions 2015, according to the Cannes Global Creativity Report. Over his nineteen years in the business, he has won a number of major national and international awards, including more than 50 Lions at the Cannes Festival, 4 first prizes at New York Festivals, 5 Gold Clios, 1 Grand Clio, 6 Gold Pencils at The One Show and 6 Effies. He took part in successful campaigns for major brands such as Visa, Mars, HP, Getty Images and Volkswagen, including the Volkswagen Kombi’s Last Wishes. He can also put together a Rubik’s cube in under 5 minutes, but, to this day, has still not memorized his seven times table.
