Trent Thompson

Trent has enjoyed over 16 years in the business. An award-winning writer and CD, he helps oversee the creative the Rogers, Mercedes-Benz, Esso and Chatr accounts at BBDO.

Before joining BBDO, Trent was Group Account Director at Cossette in Toronto – Strategy Magazine’s 2016 Agency of the Year. In his time there, he helped launch the ground-breaking SickKids VS campaign and oversaw the agency’s 1:1 accounts, including TD Canada Trust, BMW and TELUS.

Trent began his career at MacLaren MRM where he cut his teeth and honed his CRM craft before moving to Proximity Canada – a division of BBDO (who says you can’t go home again?). Over his nine years there, Trent moved up the ranks from intermediate writer to Creative Director and a member of the agency’s leadership team.

Upon leaving Proximity, Trent was brought in to help lead the creative department at DDB Canada’s CRM and digital arm – TrackDDB (formerly RAPP).
