Executive Creative Director, TBWA/Chiat/Day, USA
Amy Ferguson joined MullenLowe in the fall of 2015 charged with running the JetBlue account and growing the newly opened New York office. Since taking the reins on JetBlue she has gotten the brand a lot of attention with clever and compelling work. Most notably with JetBlue “FlyBabies,” where on a cross-country flight from New York to Long Beach passengers received a 25% discount towards their next ticket each time a baby onboard cried. The stunt flipped a tension-filled reality onto its head and was a huge win for the brand. Her work on JetBlue over the last two years landed her on AdAge’s 2016 Creatives You Should Know list as well as Business Insider’s Most Creative Women in Advertising 2017 list.
She began her career at TBWA/Chiat/Day NY, where she helped to revamp Absolut’s image with the iconic “In an Absolut World” campaign. From there she made the move to Grey New York, where she worked on E-Trade’s beloved “talking baby,” including a wildly popular and awarded Super Bowl spot. In 2010, she left Grey to freelance full time which afforded her time to work on creative pursuits beyond advertising, including launching her own stationery line.
She is most excited by simple, pure ideas and she strives to execute them in new and inventive ways. Amy and her family live in 100 year-old brownstone in Brooklyn, NY.
