Kevin Lee

Kevin is born with a love for all things creative - having had his first art exhibition at the age of 12. After being bitten by the film bug, he moved to Beijing in 1997 to learn more about the art of film directing. He was later shortlisted as a young director at Cannes and Adfest. 

Kevin’s love for film soon grew into a passion for advertising. Over the past 26 years, he’s worked on every conceivable product category, and spent more than 20 years in China creating global, regional and local campaigns.

In 2011, Kevin co-founded Leagas Delaney Shanghai. The first campaign he created at the agency for Toblerone won The One Show Silver Pencil for brand transformation.

Prior to joining Leagas Delaney, Kevin was ECD at Ogilvy Shanghai and Guangzhou. Under Kevin’s leadership, Campaign Brief ranked Ogilvy Shanghai, China’s #1 agency for two years. China Ogilvy Shanghai was also the most awarded agency in China at AdFest 2010. Kevin’s “Run Free” campaign for Nike was the second most awarded print campaign in the world according to The Gunn Report.

Kevin also served on the judging panels at D&AD, One Show Interactive, Cannes, London International Awards, New York Art Director’s Club, New York Festival, Young Guns, AdFest, Cresta Awards, Adstars and much more. Believing that young creatives are the future, he has taken on the role of mentor to many rising talents by participating in workshops such as the One Show China’s workshop, Cannes China's Young Creative award, and others. In 2012, he was nominated as the President Judge for the Youngstar Awards at Adstars in Busan.

Starting a new chapter, Kevin set up his own agency logicallogic, around the idea of connecting things that are not supposed to be together to create something unexpected –

including the unreasonable decision to create 3 entirely new agency-owned women brands in the most uncreative categories of underwear, skincare and food supplements.

To this day, Kevin sees himself as a junior art director with many years of experience. He remains fascinated with even the smallest things that can push the work to the next level.
